Your First Mud Run is the ONLY mud run in the country designed so both parents and kids can run together. Our courses are 1.5 - 2 miles and include 10 - 16 obstacles that are designed for adults and kids. If you ever thought about doing a mud run, ours is the perfect "first timer" event! Annual Pasta Fundraiser, May 22, 2016 Our 2nd Annual Pasta Dinner was generously hosted by the Italian-American Sports Club in Gates, NY. The event featured delicious food, good friends, kids activities and some amazing raffle prizes! We extend a sincere thank you to everyone who came out to support us. This event raised over $6,000!
Panera Bread Fundraiser, May 18, 2016 Friends of Story of Hope were at Panera Bread on 1501 Howard Road spreading the word about our hospice home opening in Gates. Thank you to our supporters who stopped by and to Panera Bread for donating 20% of sales!
Indoor Garage Sale at Gates Town Hall, May 14, 2016 Board members had an informational booth at the Gates Town Hall with pens, magnets, brochures and volunteer opportunities with Story of Hope. We also auctioned two tickets to an off-broadway play!

Giancursio Picnic Fundraiser, July 2015
Joe and Barbara Giancursio of Rochester hosted a picnic with over 100 people in attendance on July 19, 2015. Mr. and Mrs. Giancursio have been holding this annual fundraising event for over 20 years. For 2015, they selected Story of Hope to receive donations. The NO NAME BAND played great music for this fun charity event. Those who attended gave donations totaling $650+ to Story of Hope Comfort Care Home! These generous supporters are helping our home get closer to opening.
Mossa School of Dance Cancer Fundraiser, June 2015
Chairman and Founder Arlene Nanry represented Story of Hope with a sponsorship of the Mossa School of Dance at their recital of "What Cancer Cannot Do." The dancers put on a beautiful and touching show. Proceeds from ticket sales went towards pediatric cancer research.
Pasta Dinner Fundraiser, May 2015
Our Pasta Dinner on May 31, 2015 at theItalian-American Sports Club was a huge success! Time Warner news was there to document the fun. Thank you to all the individuals who came out and enjoyed a wonderful meal, good friends and fun times.
Barilla Pasta was so kind to donate the pasta. Panera Bread donated the rolls, and Rachel B. Cupcakes gave us delicious desserts that we sold at the Bake Sale. A special thank you to the Italian-American Sports Club for being such generous and hardworking hosts, servers, chefs and more! Over $5,500 was raised thanks to our wonderful members of the community. Every dollar that we raise brings us closer to opening our home to serve individuals in their last three months of life.

Story of Hope Comfort Care Home, Inc. held our 1st Annual Dinner at Brook-Lea Country Club in December 2014. This year's dinner was generously hosted by Story of Hope's President, Sam Savary and his wife, Theresa. It was an evening of delicious food and company, with plenty of brainstorming for upcoming fundraising events.
